Note: Whereas a reduction in kW usage is of importance, it must be pointed
out that a reduction in compressor runtime and a reduction of cooling output are
significant advantages that will lead to a reduced time between stoppages and an
increased time between equipment replacement.
It has also been seen that reduction in power consumption is increased at
elevated ambient temperatures.
All of the above Air-Condition systems are running without issues.
1 Ton = 12,000 BTU/HR // 3.52 kW
Divide kW by 3.52 kW to get size of air-condition unit.
Example: 176 kW divided by 3.52 kW = 50 tons.
